C5 vs. LS1 rear components

So....if I understand you correctly you've taken the LS1 rear abudments and bolted stock C5 calipers to them (with no modification) and then a spacer between the axle and the rotor to use a stock C5 rotor too? If it actually works sign me up for the spacers!!! I'm definitely interested!

the spacer is needed to move the backing plate out into the rotor so the parking brake works. i really couldn't find anyone that had done this so i ended up buying both the C5 components and the LS1 stuff, then figured out what it took to bolt them up. i need to check the part numbers of the stuff i have left to see what i actully used but i believe you have it right, C5 calipers in LS1 abutments bolted to the LS1 backing plate, spacer between the rear axle and backing plates then a C5 rotor. i also used the LS1 parking brake cables. sorry but it's going to take some time before i'm able to look at everything and i can get pictures but i've put it away for now. racing this weekend and other car needed attention! maybe next week.
