      Hydroboost rod purchase

I purchased an aftermarket master cylinder and a hydroboost from a 2002 Escalade and now I find neither has the actuator rod that depresses the master cylinder from the booster. In fact not exactly sure what even holds it in place. Both master and boost have the depression in the piston but what the heck holds it in place. I need to know where I can purchase the rod and whatever boot etc to hold it in place. Any ideas?
