I am working on a 69 mustang and it is time to start on the brakes. Who has the best price on Bear brakes. I am looking for a four wheel set up dont know what size price may help make that decision. Thanks for any info.

You would then of course need to contact Baer and Price the Trac system(spindles and hubs)!!

LTorres, what's your experience with warpage? The normal Wilwood 12.19" rotors are .81" thick I believe - I noticed you list yours at .866". In any event, I've been under the impression that anything less than 1.0" wide is prone to warpage, as there isn't enough "meat" there to absorb heat.

Also, which Wilwood master cylinder do you recommend with your 4 wheel disc brake setup (specifically for a manual brake setup).

Also, is it possible to upgrade to a 6 piston caliper on the front - while still using the 12.19" rotors?

I know that Wilwood doesn't offer a kit like that - but they offer a whole ton of different calipers for racing applications. I wonder if one could be made to work.

We recommend the 1" bore with Manual Brakes part# 260-8555
We recommend the 1 1/8" for Power Brakes part# 260-8556

Yes....the Forged Superlite 6 piston and Billet 6 piston Bridge Radius will clear a rotor from 11.75"-13.00". They could be made to work

Those wider rotors you offer, are they only possible with a front HAT kit, not the front HUB kit? I guess the same goes for the Superlite Calipers?

You are correct it would consist of discarding the rotor adapter and using an alternate 2pce rotor and hat. You would also need to change out the calipers in you kit from 120-6816 to the wider 120-6815. (Both have the same diameter bore).Except yours is for .810" the other will fit up to 1.00".

We just sent Bill Stevens in Siusun, CA. Kits for his 71' Cuda. Much to his surprise when he got the kit it came with 10.75" front rotors. Since the Wilwood kit for the rear with Park Brake is 12.19" he wasn't liking it too much. We are now custom building the front Cuda kit with spindles to accept a 12.19" rotor to match the rear. But then again that is why we are here. If Wilwood does not have it.....We will build it for you. Call me at 1 866 992 7253 as this is a custom kit and much I would need to discuss with you.
