Is this strong enough ?

I was messing around on e-bay killing some time and i came across this auction

and after staring at that 4-link i just couldnt beleive that it was strong enough to handle what that car must throw at it.



It appears that the entire 4-link is welded to a bar that is in turn welded to the frame. Is that how they are all done and is it strong enough ?

This looks like a fairly standard ladder bar setup. Mainly a drag race only setup. It doesn't handle well in this setup but if welded correctly, should be strong enough.
