Header info.
I just received my crate motor this week (383 with fast burn heads), went to put it in today and I found out the headers I currently have aren't going to work, so.... I'm hoping someone can help me out.
'69 Camaro, no air, 4 speed on the floor, power steering, with Aluminum heads with Angled plugs. The angled plugs have left my current headers (ceramic Heddman full length) useless. I'd like the new ones to be full length if possible.
What make (and model # if possible) headers do I need to get that will fit? Preferably Ceramic.
Thanks in advance.

05-16-2010 #2Hard to beat the Thorley 375Y It's a Tri-Y design which makes more torque than anything else out there

05-17-2010 #3I work for The Original Doug's Headers. For that motor I think a 1 3/4" header will be the way to go. Look at our part #D368. If you have the larger 825 box these won't work, in which case our D375Y Tri Y will be a good choice. http://www.pertronix.com/about/images/default.aspx for pictures

05-18-2010 #5Thanks guys for the replies. I hope I don't have a "selection of 1" to choose from. Any other options out there anyone knows of? I was hoping to stay around/under the $500 price point.
