      Stripped shock bolt-advice

I have the top stripped(not the nut) and have trouble getting the last few threads to take the nut off-any ideas?
      Thanks

If not reusing the shock clamp the vice grips on the nut and work it back and forth until the shaft breaks.

i've found that a good socket and a foot long extension does the same thing- just put it on and move it side to side until the stud snaps. this also works if a wheel stud decides to start to spin when removing a lugnut.
