      Road Runner Has New Shoes....

Mounted my new rubber today, AND put on the Fast Ratio stuff...very responsive, and it just so happens I have a SCCA practice tomorrow...yay.

For anyone wondering, they are 275/40/17's on all four corners.

Nice....glad you were able to keep the same size tire all the way around. Makes life easier when you have the same tire patch at all four corners. I wish I had room for a 275/40 up front...I might,... but would need a rim with the correct BS to pull that off. Not gonna happen with my current set of rims.

Nope, just tomorrow, for SCCA, practice is today, Champs is next Saturday. And that's Costa Mesa weekend, so you can guess what takes priority.

Well, the long and short of it...tires were definately the weakest link on the Road Runner. This thing is pretty fast now, and the High Ratio stuff helped immensly. We'll see how it does on the peanut this weekend, but as far as full sized courses, I like it. First couple of turns was funny though, I was so used to the old steering I was over steering and then correcting, it played hell with my lnes, lol. But I'm going to be bold and say I'll be very competitive among mid sized cars.

Nice Dan, I love the wheels. If you haven't already, be sure to sign up the Team T/A contingency program - all the Goodguys events are included. Good luck!!

Yep, I took second at RTTC, and haven't seen or heard of results from any of the other events. I talked to BFG at GG Del Mar, and they said Bill was in charge.
