      Help me with my design!

I have a 70 Camaro that I am painting satin black. Where I am looking for a little artistic help is with the stripes. Please let me know what you think of my choices.

      1) Gloss black single wide hood stripe with a red pin stripe around it.
      2) Gloss black super sport stripes.
      3) Dark gray hood stripe (i have smoked titanium wheels)
      4) dark gray super sport stripes.
      5) Anything you guys may suggest?

I vote for #2 as well, sort of. I would outline the ss stripes with a very thin red line. So thin, you would have to be within a few feet to see it. then do the same treatment to the rims. run a thin red line around the rim, after painting them black that is.

Then, if you do any badges, you can use red and it will match up nicely.

Having said that. I think a better option would be gloss black with satin black stripes. But Im a sucker for a clean deep black painted car. Especially one with those lines. The early 2nd gens are awesome cars.

I agree with you but the painter wants 1700 more to do gloss black basecoat/clearcoat and I am on a very tight budget and I am trying to decide if it is worth it for me to switch.

I have looked and can't figure out how to do a poll. Can someone explain quickly how to do one?

Once your thread is created you can't change it I don't think. But, when you create a thread scroll down to the very bottom of the page. You will find an option to create a poll for that thread. Once you find that it's pretty easy to do.
