Strange voltage fluctuations
I've got the strangest problem. I'm getting rapid voltage fluctuations not only across the battery, but between the negative terminal and ITSELF, and even between two body bolts. This problem occurs only when the motor is running and occurs even when I remove the alternator belt...
The car is an XB Falcon, but the wiring is close to that of a 71-73 Mustang. Motor is a 351C.
I've checked that grounds are adequate and they seem to be. Help!Matt Barr.

It isn't a bad voltmeter either, other ones show the same thing.
