      New vette guy

Hello everyone, my name is Chris, and I am addicted to vettes (Hi Chris).
I bought my '69 vette when I was 16 and have been working on it ever since (20 now) Its nothing out of the ordinary (yet) - tubular control arms, adjustable monoleaf springs front and rear, a nice 350 with a 4 speed, and a manual quick ratio rack & pinion that I fabbed up myself. Ive been trying to make it as much of a road racer as possible while still keeping it somewhat streetable. Ive got the weight down to 2960lbs, and still looking to go lighter. Future plans are to put in a 6 speed, custom big brake kit, and fine tune the suspension some more with a 6 link and some adjustable shocks. When I learn to drive this setup to its limit, Ill finally build the 427 small block that my username suggests. Im from Jersey, so if anyone goes down to NJMP for a track day Id love to tag along to move my status from "bench racer" to "road racer"
Enough talk, on to the pics...

      And one more...

Welcome. My dad had a green '69 convertible that he picked up in '71. It's a 427/390 and is still in the family (brother has it now) it only has roughly 45,000 miles. He got a restored Corvette with low miles and I got a half finished back-halved 72 Camaro. I think I got screwed...ha.

Saw your pics at the blue place.

That's the stance a 69 vette should have IMO!

My dream (and hopefully next) vette. Very Nice Job
