      LS1 ac compressor bracket

Who has used what to relocate the ac compressor to the top of the motor- Have a 65 GTO with 02 LS1 and am looking for info on what kind of brackets and pulleys it takes to get this hooked up, and is there any way to use the old compressor or do I need a Sanden style, Ive seen the KWiK performance online-anyone use this?? I think the March Performance kits are a little out of my price range.

I just got my Kwik Perf. setup today for the LS2 going in my 57 Truck project. Very nice looking parts. Hopefully next week I can post some photos of it mounted. My 57 truck has a 2nd Gen Camaro subframe grafted in and the clearance issues the Camaro has with the LS2 GTO dropout come along with the subframe. Will be using the stock Alt. and PS pump from the 06 GTO donor and a Sanden A/C comp.

I am currently using the Kwik Perf on my Kenne Bell SC LS1...'bout 6k hard miles on it with no problems.

I have also used Street & Performance's AC bracket but had to sell as I needed one with a belt tensioner (Kwik-Perf).

I will attempt to post a couple of mock shots of the Kwik Perf serpentine setup on my LS2/ 57 truck.

Yes Mark, All by Kwik perf. Really went together nicely and seems like it will work well. And what I bought from them was under $500.00 delivered. So far I'm impressed.

Not really new Brandon. I've had the truck for 4 years. Just got inspired recently as to what I wanted to do with it. Look at project updates for some pics.

Can't use the stock comp. with Kwik's setup. It works with Sanden 508s.
