      Guldstrand mod... how accurate??

Dumb question here... How accurate do the holes need to be? Basically here's what happened. I layed the templates out on the subframe, got all the pilot holes drilled and when I was all set and done, my left front holes is .060" higher than the Right front hole. So, do I weld in that hole and redrill? Can I get away with ovaling it? Basically did I F- up majorly or will a full alignment take care of it being out of wack? Didn't know how accurate the original holes were to begin with.

      Thanks
      Buddy P

      I wouldn't worry about it.
I don't know how accurate the GM subs were built.
Don't oval the hole if it is at the finished size now. If you need to file a little to make the bolt fit, then you can file the lower side a little to correct it.
67 Camaro RS that will be faster than anything Mary owns.

Well, they are drilled right at .437 right now and I guess stock was .440 or .444. So it only leaves me a few thousands to file. Didn't know it it'd throw caster off too much or not.

Thanks, I feel a little better
