      Armor All Wheel Protectant

Ok, It's been years, I was signed to a Non Disclosure agreement, but now the product is on the market and I can finally scream about how AWESOME this stuff is.

      http://www.armorall.com/products/vie...ry_index=wheel

I beta tested this stuff for a market research company a few years ago over a period of a few months on all my cars. (my Corvair's Coys and my wifes minivan and a friend's Harley with pure aluminum wheels)

You simply spray this stuff on, and watch as your wheels stay clean for WEEKS. No brake dust, no dirt, Mud? nope. Nothing sticks.

If you want your expensive wheels to stay spotless RUN out and get this stuff.

Watch that video on the site. It works exactly like that. It's astonishing stuff.

/I have like 4 cans saved up already. Just in case.
// They had to litterally pry the stuff out of my hands when the test was over. Seriously. It's that awesome. I told them they could keep the 250 bucks they were paying if I could keep the can.

Eagle makes the same product, ordered it on line about a year ago.

I think Eagle1's product is the same idea, but not executed the same. Eagle1's protectant is an oily pump spray product that looks and feels like silicone spray. Probably a knock off of the idea behind the Armor All one.

Much secrecy was in place due to fear of being beaten to the market back then. This product doesn't go on "hazy" isn't messy and oily looking. It dries to an invisible finish, that nothing can stick to.

And it lasts FOUR weeks, not two.

Damnnnnnn! Neat stuff! Since I spent forever getting the wheels on my wife's BMW clean I definitely need to get some of this for the daily drivers! How does it look on a flat finish wheel?

PS that video is a crackup!

Glad to hear, I just got some new billet wheels, and am forecasting a love/hate relationship with keeping them clean.
      Thanks!
      Great clip!

not sure how it'd look on a flat finish one. I do know it turns invisible when dry. All the wheels I used it on were glossy and shiny.

I tried it last week, I wasn't impressed with how evenly it went on. 2 days later and I had blotchy clean/unclean spots. I'll have to try to spray it in the garage next time, may have been a breeze messing with it.

If I can get it applied evenly, then I'll be buying more in the future.

One of the things we tested was my friends harley with fully polished wheels. The finish didn't change that we could tell.

Granted, the stuff I tested was experimental. Im not absolute that this is the exact same product I tested for them, but it looks, smells and so far performs exactly the same as the stuff I tested.

That's the thing with doing market research, focus groups can change a product. the group I was in RAVED about it, all we haggled over was the bottle shape. Back then, it looked just like every other bottle they had, and we thought that'd be confusing. Looks like they took our advice.

this.....is a godsend. the one downside of a snowflake-pattern wheel, effectively erased.
