Whats the best way to mount auto meter speed and tach gauges into the stock holes on a 67 camaro/firebird?

Do a search for this and you should find several threads. I'll see if I can find some pics I saved that are posted on this site.

Here are three pics I found that were originally posted on this site. But do a search and you should find more info. Also take a look on camaros.net. Good site for 1st gen camaro info.

My recommendation would be the covan's dash panel.

One will be going in my wife's 67 this spring.

I actually used a blank Covan dash to mount my 5" speedo and tach in. Here is a link to my setup. There is also a template on how to cut the openings for the gauges.

I found these on eBay. Thought they looked pretty cool. Kinda pricey.
Also has a set to mount 1 5" gauge, and 4 of the 2 1/8" gauges in the other spot.
