      Chevelle wheels

Does ANYBODY have pics of your '68 or '69 Chevelle with 17" or 18" wheels? If you post it, can you tell me what the tire sizes and backspacing are? Thanks!

I have C5 wheels on my 69 chevelle using a 2 inch spacer front and rear. I will be using a 275/40/17 on the front and a 285/35 on the rear. The rear has room for more tire could probably run a 305 with no problem and a 315 by rolling the quarter lip. The front is about as big as will fit. The fronts are 17 x 8.5 with the spacer it makes them have 5 in back space. The rears are 18x 9.5 with the spacer they have 5.5 inches of backspace. Best pic I currently have

Thanks for the pictures!! They're really helpful. Tom - did you have to mini tub or modify the fender lips to fit those 305's or 295's ? The 305's are SO badass. I'd love to see pictures of that Chevelle once the front end is on! Thanks again. Shane

No tubs but I did roll the fender lips although I don't think you really need to for 305 or 295 size. I know there are others running 315 tires with no tubs. There is a member here I think by the name gmorris with a really nice chevelle but I can't remember what size tires he had.

I am running Cragar 17X8 with a 265/60/17, not sure of the backspace but fit perfectly.
