      lt1 to LS1 transmission

      Will the ls1 motor just bolt up to the LT1 manual transmission

      Been wondering the same thing.
      As far I know the input shaft and bell housing needs to be changed. But as for the hydraulics, no clue?

      no, the LT1 bell housing will not accept the LSx flywheel. LT1 uses 153 tooth which has 10 something inches in diameter and the LSx uses 168 tooth flywheel which is larger.
