Thanks guys for the help! i ended up just starting over, there were a few other problems with my dimensioning. After extruding it and making the holes i typed in the command "subtract" and clicked from the body the holes and got this:
im thinking of trying to design turbo headers for an LS, then when i get the hang of it, maybe for my small block chrysler
..only in solidworks
