97 LT1 help!!
Hey all, I am in need of the LT1's rear main housing hardware list. I've got 1 bolt and two studs with nuts and it doesn't look anything like what is in the LT1 rebuild book. Any help would be great!
I've got to get the motor ready for the frame before it goes back to the body shop to remount the body.

I don't think it is any different than any 1986 or newer small block chevy.

Studs are probably for attaching the wiring harness to. To help keep it tucked around the back of the engine

The studs held the rear main housing on. I just don't think it's right and just want to get things the way they're supposed to be. I bought the motor used and "rebuilt" and have found numerous issues and have subsequently torn it all apart and rebuilt it again.
