Nice! The balljoint pop was definitely a 'WTF' moment for me, too.

wait.....it happend to you also??

Looks Great!! can't wait to see it on the ground!!!

While we were bleeding the brakes...I noticed that the bottom plugs for the bleeders were leaking...

I called Rick at Bear and he said to take the plug out and see if there is a 3/16" ball bearing in there..

There wasn't a ball bearing in both calipers...not good. The allen plug/screw pushes the ball bearing up into a small oriffice to not allow fluid past it.

Soooooo...Rick said he could either send me one out or I could go on a ball bearing search. I decided to try to find on myself...and I did!!

Ace Hardware had the 3/16" ball bearings. The plug actually had a lil indent that held the ball bearing in place...pretty cool attention to detail there.

Put it on the plug...tighten down and no more leak!! Thanks to Rick @ Baer brakes for the amazing customer service!!!!!!!

This is the "best of the best" Earls Pro-Lite 350 carb inlet fuel line vs the Big End Racing carb inlet line. Both were around $80 and both looked nice but one leaked like a faucet and one never leaked.

The win goes to....Big Stuff Racing!! Good bye Earl's Pro-Lite everything...nothing but leaks.

[SicMonte]

Sorry...all black is Earl's...black/silver is Big End.

Now the never ending drama of the power steering leak. Ever since I got my first Jones Racing p/s pump it has leaked...so annoying!! I sent the first one back and when the new one came in I installed it and it still leaked! I talked to Chris Jones at Jones Racing Products and we found out why....it was all my fault.

Back side of the pump and reservoir.

Spring clips on top and bottom that hold on the reservoir.

Reservoir is off and I now see what Chris was talking about....

This is the o-ring that seals the reservoir to the pump. I was pulling on the reservoir when I was trying to tighten the belt. This was causing the o-ring to get pinched and ripped just slightly...but under high pressure it was leaking. Now I know...DOH!!!!

Thanks goes out to Chris Jones @ Jones Racing Products for puting up with me and steering me towards the light!!!!!

[SicMonte]

Motor is all put back together. I ended up not doing the manual brake swap due to numerous complication and I flat out ran out of time!!

All ready to go to the alignment shop...

[SicMonte]

At the alignment shop...Goss' Garage.

Rear

Back side of the fronts...

Found out that the outer tie rod was hitting the sway bar when it was at ride height. I had to get a longer sway bar end link to solve it. I went from 3 3/8 to 4 1/2...fixed.

This car is wearing me out!!

Which model/application is the link from? Or, did you use a cut-to-length link?

May I ask, is this reservoir the same size as the plastic one?

Not sure what plastic one you are talking about. I do know that Turn One Steering uses a plastic reservoir in their PS set ups. I am not sure of a size difference though.

Wouldn't mind seeing the more significant updates here.

Let's just say there's a reason I've never had a facebook presence and leave it at that.
