oops! dunno how I missed this one--i'll get a finalized count saturday when the fam is getting together, but an estimated count would be me, jc, jc's lady friend, my sister, and my mother and father.

I'm rushing to have the bird together, and my dad wants to bring his 911 just to play. We'll most likely be there for the auto-x, may come down early for the cruise--gotta see what everyone else is in the mood for.

We're trying to find people to cover our shifts on Saturday (Holiday weekend) and then we'd have to empty the piggy bank, but if all that happens we'll sign up with the wagon or 66 chevelle or both.

4 days and counting till I'm outa here. Tons of thing still left to do. DRove the car 500 yards this weekend at the local show. DRopped her off this morning for a alignment. Then back in the shop tonight to fix brake line leak, adjust clutch, and install new oil pressure guauge. Then drive it some and see if it breaks!!

I will be attending Saturday. I have been to RTTH the last 2 years and to PSMC last year but I have never participated. I am bringing my 73 Camaro. Neither the suspension or the brakes have been updated but I am sure it will be a blast. I actually have suspension parts in transit but they will not be installed in time.

I read earlier that it is not required, but if you feel you need one you can bring it.

I brought my helmet for the ridetech Autox on the PT, and well honestly that sumbitch took up a lot of trunk room for not needing it on the long haul...

You don't really need a helmet.
Speeds will be not be that high at this event..
I always wear my helmet at this event anyway..
      I just feel safer ...

ok, I need to adjust my count--still gonna be my bird and my dad's 911, but it'll just be 5 of us. My buddy and his vette won't call me back, so I'd count him out. lookin' like we'll be there friday and saturday.

i hear ya about room. i have done my share of SCCA stuff and of course you have to wear one, real pain in the ass. my theory is that i think we all have done stupid **** on the road that would have hurt more than anything on an autocross course!

69 hours and counting till I hit the road heading to ATL. Weather looks good for the weekend, temps are gonna be decent!! Mix that with hot rides, acres of black top, and good friends and its sure to be a heck of a weekend!! Just pushed shop beater into the booth to spray the nose area and get rid of the leftover white stripe portion! Car still needs some odds and ends but will have to do for now. Just got to remember to bring a small battery so I can let my windows up and down, as they have yet to get wired to the switches!! lol
