Shoulder Harness Attachment
I have an old scout that I run topless in the summer (not exactly pro touring material, but I have a real P.T. project in the works - also topless). I need to anchor a 3 point shoulder harness to the roll bar but I'm not sure of the best way. Is it proper to weld a sleve through the bar and then use a high grade bolt through it? Or should I weld an attachment on to the bar and leave the tube (2") intact? There's no body structure to attach it to in the normal way, but the bar is pretty solid. I only have lap belts now and scout dashes are very hard!
