      Inner Fender Color?

Since you guys picked the color on the FREEDOMBIRD I thought it only appropriate you help with this detail too...

Inner fenders are body worked to remove all the factory reliefs (dents) and all holes have been welded/filled. They are in primer and ready for paint...

So, JetStream Blue to match the firewall or "hot rod" black like the top of the radiator support? lmk

since your firewall's blue, i voted blue. it was a tough call, though--both will look great.

Blue all the way. Black will pull your eyes away too much due to the contrast.

Usaually I would say semi black because I'm not a big fan of the Painted to match engine bay I like the semi black look JMO...But in this case I really like that blue. I will have to vote Blue

Black. The blue might be a bit much. IMO.

I vote for black. That sexy blue shows the body lines beautifully, but for appliance shapes like inner fenders, make them fade away w/black.

How about your blue with carbon fiber hydrographics over the top...

      Similar to these?

Eventually I'd like to put the carbon fiber inners in the car... when they're available...

I can do the hydrographics 4 you at cost right now - color matched and a perfect finish. Most can't tell it isn't the real thing... unless weight is a big thing your after.

I'm going against the grain here. I say go with natrual glossy....

Carbon. We have inner fenders for 2nd gens in route to us that would go really well in there.

Black won out in the end... for ease of touchup over time it just makes the most sense...

Actually, I had blue inner fenders for years and no chips. We actually painted the inner fenders with just a cheap 30 dollar touchup gun and tankless compressor. We used single stage though for the paint, but lasted about 11 years. Although, I decided to restore the car. Anyway single stage is easy to do touch up.

2nd gen birds? IIRC camaros & firebirds have different inners along with a lot of the other sheet metal.
