      Mopars at the Strip Autocross

      Hi All,

We just set up our Autocross course with the Keisler crew at Mopars at the Strip. The event is at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and will include a "Pony Car Wars" Mustang vs Camaro vs Challenger shootout on the autocross and the drag strip. Mary Pozzi and John Hotchkis are giving driving lessons, and everyone who runs the autocross gets a free subscription to Mopar Enthusiast, a video of their car and a license plate frame. Hope some of you will come join us this weekend!

      Great Weather, Great Fun

Today during setup it was a blast hanging out with the crew from Hotchkis, and trainer autocross extradordinare Mary Pozzi.

The Hotchkis-Keisler autocross is FREE and open to all models - even '69 Camaros! So come on out and bring your car and get some seat time. It's a blast!

Here is some quick footage from today's setup.

I'll be there with the Road Runner. Driving in tomorrow night.
How long did the course end up being time wise? Top speeds? Lowest speed turn?

      Hi Dan,

I think it is somewhere in the mid-high 30sec. I don't know the other details since it was setup today. We'll see you here!

Well, it was definitely a blast. From Mary working from sun up to sun down and girl in her panther Cuda, to the Valiant 100 with the drag skinnies up front, it was awesome. Thanks to everyone involved for setting this up, your efforts didn't go unnoticed ( I'd hate to have to work a track ALL day, I barely have the patience to do it for my work groups, lol). Can't wait for the next event.

We shot so much footage, we're working as quickly as possible to get it cut and uploaded.

      Here's two teasers:

We'll be posting more photos on our Hotchkis Facebook Page and we'll be sending out links to a website to all the people who participated so you can download images of your car.

      Slalom fun

If I could have, I would have spent the whole MATS 2010 event at the slalom course. I could sure use some Hotchkis suspension mods on my Jensen (as well as a lot more tire and a lot less ride height!) Mary Pozzi was incredible to watch out on the course... amazing. Im ready for more (dont know if the car is though...)
