      Painting matte colors?

Im wondering how to paint matte colors. I recently sold my 68 camaro that was plymouth prowler pearl orange. I love this color. Im going to be painting a motorcycle and im wondering if I can paint it this color but in a matte finish? Can i use the same paint but with a different clear coat? Ive never done this before and im looking for some help.

      Thanks!

You can get flat clears now, or use a flatting agent in a regular clear.

PPG makes a flat clear that you mix with a regular clear depending on on how flat you want it....Back many years ago I heard of people using baby powder in the clear the flatten it out...I have tried and it does work but I used it on a small piece so not sure if I would try it on sometihing as nice as a bike.
