Thinking about this for my 67

I visited this engine shop on Saturday. They are building LS1/LS6 and now LS2 engines with conventional intake and carb instead of EFI. I have been thinking about getting rid of the old iron big block for a while now, and this seems like something different with a cool twist. And a lot less weight on the front end.

I realize the answer I will get from most guys on this forum is "why a carb instead of EFI?" The attraction to me is that it is a lot less complicated as far as tuning and electronic controls. I personallly find all the computer stuff kind of intimidating.
