I'm 35 years old and have been into cars all my life. My current project is a 1987 Pontiac Trans Am, which is in the teardown/early construction phase right now. Its going to be powered by a Pontiac V8, not the Chevy 305 it came with, with an IA2 iron block and JBP wide port heads. It will be a twin turbo, with Accel DFI 7, and backed up by a Viper spec T56 and a Moser 9" rear. It'll have the largest brakes I can fit under the 18" wheels, and be built to handle. While I do plan to show the car at first, its really being built more for driving and road racing, so function and reliability will be the main concerns.
I've heard lots of good things about this board, glad to be here!
