      brake switch / 4l60e

have been searching forum for a while can't find..

Do I need to add a brake switch for the lock-up feature of the Torque converter?

      I am running an LS2 with a 4l60e?

No, you don't need a brake switch. Lock up is based on vehicle speed and, depending on what computer you use, TPS.

You don't want a brake switch in a pro-touring car. With it, the drivetrain would decouple when braking for turns.

Thanks Steve, I have no clue when it comes to the tranny part of the conversion,, I will be using an E-40 with a separate TCU that I got from Speartech. So no brake switch is the VSS the only thing I hook up then?
