      17x11s on my GN

Hey guys I just thought I would share a few pics of my GN. A couple months ago I got the frame notched so I could run a 17x11. I just got them mounted last week and am very happy. Yes they are TT2s and everybody has them but I still like'em lol. I am a bit disappointed in the 315 555rs as they are a very narrow 315 and have more of the stretched look than I wanted on an 11" wheel. Anyways here are the pics. They are 6" BS with a small 1/4" billet spacer. Im running the spacers because I had them and didn't realize the new setup would tuck in as much as it did.

very nice set up. I had the exact same tire and wheel size on the back of my 88 monte with a frame notch but I had 5.5" bs. It was right at the lip and it didn't look right. Your 6"bs is just perfect!!!!!

I think the tires look great on the rim. They dont look stretched from here. And ya know why you see alot of TT2s? Cause they are a great looking wheel. I like the entire look of your car. Thats some slick BLACK paint. Like a black mirror. JR

Yeah, that is one sharp GN. Curious, how much of a frame notch did you have to do to get those to fit?

yea courious on the frame notch? i am looking at buying one of these in the next week, i found a really nice 86 that is all stock and in great shape for what i sthink is a decent deal and will need to put some wheels on it, i was going to do 18, and if a 315 will fit that is what it will get!!!

Sharp car, the stance is perfect, and the wheels fit great. I was worried that the 17's I bought for my Monte wouldn't fit right, but from the pics of your car I'd say it's about the perfect diameter, now I can't wait to mount them up....

Very nice! I have the same setup on my '87.

Believe it or not, you can probably go to a 335/35ZR17tire if you wanted. Its extremely close to the frame though.

How do you like the Nitto 555R's? Do they have decent traction for a 17" tire?
