it's the one that best matches the vehicle weight, gearing, cubic inches, intake and the intended use (daily driver, street/strip, etc)

(hint: you'll get better answers if you can provide the above info)

67 Camaro, Drive on street but more autocross and track. Don't care if it's civil on the street, plus I kinda like a rough idle. No idea on weight, 67 Camaro with GW suspension, LS engine, TKO600, no sound deadening, no rear seats and front seats are recaros. 2 piece wheels and wilwoods. Maybe 3400? L92 so 6.2 litre from 08 escalade, Will run GMPP Intake manifold and holley 780 unless someone has a better suggestion

That helps. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than I will chime in here. There's certainly a lot of opinions on cams out there.

All the cam specs I have in front of me are for LS7's but here are two and I think either one would suit you.

      .......................Duration................... ..Lift 1.8............LSA....
      Katech Torquer... 220...244..................615... 648... 110

      ComCams....XER...232...240...................633.. .640...110+2

I would guess a cam between 220 - 232 duration is the right range for you since you probably want great torque over peak HP.

I'm no expert, I just couldn't stand to see a blank thread.

LS1 tech had some options, but only got me up to about 480hp. Getting a cam from Frank for $750 w/ springs to handle it that will put out 540 hp at crank. How awesome is that? I'm definitely happy with it for that price with that kind of gains. I'll let everyone know how it works on the dyno.

You'll have to ask frank. I never got them. So maybe when I get it I'll get the specs. I'll let you know.
