      I'm glad to hear about your change of fortunes. I'm sorry to hear about your dad.I lost mine three years ago, he was eighty eight years old, the only reason that I bring this up is because When my dad got to sick to take care of himself I wasn't physically able to take care of him so we had to put him in a nursing home, what I found out during this process was that once he qualified for care we had the choice of keeping him at home and being payed the same amount of money by the government as they would have payed the nursing home which amounted to about $3500 a month. This would be a decent amount of money to help your dad and family. You are doing the right thing by keeping your dad at home as long as possible, Even though I wasn't able to use this option I know that it works, a good friend of mine was able to keep his father in law with him and was able to collect the money that he needed to take care of his dad, by the way are you also using Medicade ? All of this money is rightfully your dads, after all he paid insurance payments to the government his whole life.

      P.S. this money is tax free

      This economy is a strange beast. Losing my job was the best thing to happen for my career.
      Sorry about living in Yuba, but at least you've got a great job.
      I spent several months on a job a Beale AFB so I've spent some time there. Skip dinner at the "c"rappy Viking, but check out Cilantro's with the wife. Good place.

      That is great news bro---happy to hear this---it's great to hear some good stuff like this! It seems like Yuba city would be a great place to live, although i've only fished there (salmon, steelhead) and not had to live in the town, but always seemed like a very laid back and relaxed place. Blessings to you and your wife as you help out your pop.
