Photoshop Question

[third base]

Is there a place on the net where I can download a Photoshop program or do I have to buy one? probably a stupid question but I really don't know. I am just dying to learn how to do it. thanks.

I use the free software that came with my scanner, which is a basic consumer level version of Photoshop called Photoshop Elements 2.0. You can buy it separately for $50 or less, but my very nice Cannon scanner was only $50 and included the software.

Anyway, if you're cheap or broke, there are some free ones out there, but finding one that is ported to your platform (Windows? Mac? Linux?) will probably be the primary concern. If you're on a Mac, check out GIMPshop. If not, try a good old fashioned google search or visit sourceforge.org.

Hope this helps...

Hmmm... someone must've realized the legal issues about that now-deleted post.
