      G-Body Spring Rates

What are you G-Body guys running for spring rates in the front and rear of your cars?

I've got a 36mm hollow F-car hollow swaybar for the front, 24mm F-car solid rear. In the rear, I'm putting in perches to run 5" coils, possibly threaded buckets with extra nuts to dial and lock my corner weights. In the front I'll be running stock diameter rated race springs. Car currently has an iron-headed Vortec 5.7L in it with alum intake, only weight-reductions are removing all the stock smog crap, and a fiberglass hood.

I'm leaning toward about 700 in front, 225 in rear, but am curious as to what others are running. If I don't like it once it's in I can swap pretty easily, but I'd like to get it close on the first shot...

      Thanks much.

      '87/'79 Cutlass

      '79 600lb/in front, 129lb/in rear.(5660/5401)
      '87 600lb/in front, 143lb/in rear.(5660/5409)
1-1/8" front bar with ES bushings/endlinks.
No rear bar on the '87, '79 has the larger stock bar(forget size)
Both cars have AL hoods, Bumpers(front/rear), intakes and WPs.
Bilstein F4B461307H1(S10) front shocks, Bilstein F4B460929H0 A/G rear shocks.
      Both cars are SBO powered.

I ditched the rear bar on the '87(daily) left it on the '79.

I had tried CC627s(107lb/in variable) too harsh, and CC651(116lb/in variable) beyond the first inch of compression the springs were too harsh IMO. The car rear would jostle over larger bumps.

5662 IROC front springs (706) with the 36mm front bar and IROC steering box. Del-A-Lum bushings in upper and lower front control arms.

I've run these springs on my AFR headed SBC.

Matt I completely forgot to mention...
The '79 has B spindle swap with GW UCA and factory lowers with Del-A-Lums. That's why I used the 5401.
