      Current Pro-Touring eBay Camaros

Did a quick check in eBay Motors under "Camaro Pro-Touring" - just curious to see what was out there:

      Overall results - 13 cars:

Nice Camaro, no doubt, but $140K??, although nice to see some proceeds are going to FireFighters Charity:

This one has potential written all over it. Nice starting point at a reasonable price:

I'm not down w the paint, tho...

That 69 eBay deal (the one w potential) has been listed three times and he just lowered it a thou. Something tells me he's not telling the whole story.

Am I missing something here? Why does the "140k" Camaro have coil overs and a mono leaf out back? And a 10 bolt to boot?

It's rare to find a real and nice pro touring car on ebay.

I'm really wondering if the market on PT cars is doing a bit worse than say on restored cars, if maybe it's peaked beyond just the market peak a few years back. (bashing can begin here, it's ok...) I've just noticed a lot of nice cars go for 30-40k that cost twice that to build, even BJ had prices down on modified cars I thought worse than a good #'s matching car, where a couple years ago the custom pulled more $ or as much. " pro-touring" seems to be a popular catch phrase ..when selling a classic car.
