Well been looking for small tig,,,,

So I had been trying to find decent TIG machine ,even looked at the cheapie Chinese made plasma/stick/tig but issues, parts,etc are giving me some misgivings.
SO I am now the proud owner of a Thermal Arc 95S inverter stick/lift tig.
Something to get me started, then I will have the most of the accessories when a used one with more features show it head later on.
It will do steel and stainless, Ill get something for aluminum later on.
My big thing now is what gas to get as Indiana Oxygen sell the tank then it only costs like $18 to fill.
May not be great but it is a start.
DANG this thing is tiny not much bigger than a toaster, but from some of the work I have seen done it should do ok for a start.

Let me know how well this works for 3/16 steel. 95 amps sounds small for 3/16. Ive never used lift tig or a non regulated output (no peddal or thumb control) but for the price it would be worth trying... dunno about building a cage or safety stuff with it..
