      record snow...in Texas

Wow...simply wow. I am in Pottsboro, TX and we have received 10 inches of snow today. For you folks up north, this may sound like nothing at all, but this is more snow in one day than we have received in ANY WINTER SEASON since the records have been kept.

So is anyone in Texas starting to disbelieve in global warming like the rest of the country this year?

Here in San Antonio, the last significant snow was 1986, several inches of snow (5-8?) paralyzed the city for days, through the weekend.
It was no surprise, all 1,245,899 beaters with bald tires! LOL
BTW, nobody sells snow shovels down here, so we had to wait for the weather to warm a bit.

      snow in TX

Yep, 7" here in Longview and I can handle that, being from Kansas, but to lose power??? It was a wet heavy snow, my umbrella on my patio furniture bent over! I knew it was going to happen though, I saw about 2" on it last night, but I was not going to lower it and get snow on my head

We got about 12.5" of snow in Fort Worth (west DFW). It wasn't really that bad but everyone turns into an idiot down here. Reminds me of the Seattle slushy snow that never quite freezes. It took out some carports, flat roofs, and power lines but most the trees already got cut back by the TXU tree crews. Worst part was I couldn't get the Goat in the driveway so I had to round the block and take a running start. Took the truck to work today no prob. Just hopinge in doesn't freeze tonight.
