It all depends what you like using it for. I haven't had anything other than a utility one around the farm. You can haul stuff and still play when your done.
I've got a Honda and a Yamaha and can't really complain about either one. Hard to beat the Honda durability though.

      Hi Paul,
I have a 2002 Polaris 500 Scrambler. I can blast around the woods and plow the driveway. I think your in Mtown, feel free to stop by and take it for a blast someday.

As stated, depends on what you want it for. Utility quads are worlds apart from sport quads. I have a Yam. yfz450 and wife has a yami. Raptor 700 The 450's are for racing and jumping--Araptor 700 is great for trails/dunes and comfy to ride, but when you want to stand up and ride w/ your hair on fire the 450's are the way to go.

My vote is for Honda. We have 3 Honda 3 wheelers and a Fourtrax 300 4x4. Two of the 3 wheelers we use strictly for work horses - pulling trail mower, pulling harrow sections, drag my drive, pulling trees- We beat the tar out of them and they just keep on ticking. The 4 wheeler is used for running around the property and plowing snow. Very reliable machines!

I will make you a smoking deal on a 2006 Suzuki LTR 450.. long travel fuel injected... Its basically a factory race quad...I bought it in Jan 07 when I lived In vegas.... put no more than 25 hours on it then moved to NC where its sat in my garage for almost 2 years... I fire it up and ride it around before the cops show up... just changed the oil and replaced the battery... Has after market exhaust(Curtis Sparks) Douglas bead lock wheels.... and a few other additions.... 3200 takes it... I bought it for 9800 new...

Like they said it all depends. Utility ATV'S, I would go with a polaris. We have 3. 2 Sportsman 500's and a 250 4x4 that we have had new since 92 and still runs awesome. I have ridden quite a few different types and Polaris is my favorite.

For racing style: Honda, yamaha, suzuki. Polaris has came along with some pretty nice bikes but I would consider Honda or Yamaha. Some of the older Honda and Suzuki bikes are killer.

I have a Honda TRX450 with a 14:1 piston and cam. Talk about hauling the mail. The utility quads have there place but I'm a speed demon.
