      Anyone in Indy?

I am going to Indianapolis on business for 2 weeks from the 25th of Apr to May 6th. I was wondering if there were any good shows/cruises to go to while I am up there. Any other places of interest would also be appreciated.

By then the cruise in at the defunct dog and suds drive in-in in Greenwood on sat. night should be going.5:00- 10:30 or 11 .Then go north up 31 and just look in the parking lots notelling what you'll see.At times I see pockets of cars in parking lots as far north as 465 the loop that goes around the city.Fri night there is a cruise in at the washington sq mall (NE corner) this cane go from nice cars w/lame strobe lights in the signal lights (like cop cars) to really neat stuff.Oh yeah w. sq is on the e.side .Came anyone chime in on the one in nobelsville. When and is it as good as g-wood?

I live in Noblesville. They have a "cruise in" on Sat nights on the courthouse square. Don't waste your time going to it, it is nothing. Maybe 15-20 cars will show up. And most are not worth giving a second look to. The one in Greenwood is much better.

I had heard that the gathering at Washington Square mall was not happening any more. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

There is this nice little museum located at a reasonably famous racetrack, lol. The Indy Museum is a cool place to go see and recommend it if you have the time. If you get there at opening time it is a lot less crowded.

There is also another museum in downtown that is also very cool, it is the natural history or industry museum, not sure of the exact name but it was cool too.

It might have been the State museum, I just know it was downtown and big.We also got lost near it and it wasn't that nice of a neighborhood near by.

Another spot I forgot was the Union Station mall. The way they did it is really cool. It would be interesting to know how many rivets are really in that place, just to go and look is worth it since it was the hub of the railroad. It is rather expensive to eat there at the restaurants but it is nice.

That's why it is now a mall unless they closed the mall down. They converted it back in the 80's and the last time I was there was in 90 so it could be gone ? But why? Check into it .it is as cool as the museums for sure.

Yeah the mall and all the restaurants I believe closed or moved the only part open I think would be a part that had part of a hotel in it (like sleeping cars or something ) I haven't been there in quite awhile
