Hardline Question

Does anyone have experience using the hard line to AN adapter fittings that Summit or Jegs sell? They use a brass ferrule that crimps the fitting to the line.

I've used one Summit adapter on my stainless return line. I've just purchased a bunch now that I'm redoing everything for fuel injection. I know other people use them instead of flaring.
