      1967 Mustang Coupe

      Hey Guys,

Well, although my shop is currently full of other projects, it will soon be empty (enough) and ready for my '67 Couple to come in and get some work done.

      Short term plan:
      • FatMan strut IFS kit
      • Panhard and Bushings
      • Drive
      Long term plan:
      • 4.6 4V, bought a week ago
      • ZF 6HP26 6 speed auto. Sitting in my shop without a controller.... 4W70 if I cant find a controller
      • 3 link rear
      • Paint and lotsa mods
My platform is a 41000 mile 6 cylinder bench seat 3 speed. Currently has a mild 302/C6/8" posi. Its in very nice shape, cant even find any rust underneath.

      Here are a few photos:

Stay tuned, the build should be starting next week.

Well, the FatMan Fabrications Strut IFS kit arrived yesterday. My first impression is that its pretty well built kit. Of course I cant say yet what the fit is like but I'll post my build here so you can follow along.

Here a few pics of the kit unpacked in my shop:

Here you can see the chrome flaking of the QA1 strut spring:

Those photos are actually from the last owners place. I do, however, have a '70 F-100 getting the treatment...

5.4 3V from a lightning getting the twin turbo treatment....

Correct me if I'm wrong here but the lightning never came with a 3v, they were only available with the eaton supercharged 2v 5.4. If you have a 3v it came from a standard F series which didn't come available until they changed the body style in 2005 I think.

You're correct. The 3V is out of an '07 Navigator, I have the Lightning shortblock that came (for free) with the 4R100 from the lightning. I plan to move the rotating assembly to the 3V to handle the torque.

      Hey guys

Lots of updates to come. I'm currently drunk on a beach in Mexico but will update when I get home. With any luck my rendering will be done as well as it's long overdue.
