      roller rockers required?

can someone please tell me why roller rockers are required on some heads. what would happen if you used stamped steel rockers instead?

Some aftermarket heads require "offset" roller rockers due to relocation of valves because of increased size or relocated intake/exhaust ports. The pushrods don't fit in the stock location, so offset rockers allow the pushrods to be moved. (very simplistic answer)
