      C5 rear information

just finishing up my C5 rear caliper/rotor deal (GM 12 bolt). everything is going together real well. was wondering if someone could provide someplace to post pictures, part numbers and a short how-to. i don't know much about the computer end of it and could send everything to someone. i had a hard time getting good solid answers when i started and would like to provide the information for others. Total cost is around $500.00 using GM parts, mostly new but used calipers. sorry if this is posted in wrong place.

i did it to an a-body but it's all the same, 10 bolt/12 bolt GM. i didn't get any response to this so i put the car together without writing it all down. if you need i can get all the information to you in a few days. i'll just have to go over all of my reciepts for the part numbers. i had a friend CNC a set of spacers so the e-brake stuff lines up. he can make more and is selling them for $65.00 a pair. i used C5 calipers and rotors with LS1 backing plates and e-brake cables. havn't driven it yet but it looks good! trying to get the master on today and take it out tonight.

      jjump,

I can host the information on my site, if you wanted to do a HOW TO. I am actually in the process of starting to bolt the 13" C5 setup on my 65 Cutlass.

Shoot me an email at [email protected] if you need help.

i also used C5 stuff on the front. i bought my brackets from touring classics and bolted it all to the stock spindles. bought used calipers, otherwise everything is new GM. can't beat the 40.00 drilled/slotted Z06 rotors! i will try to get a list together before this weekend and email it to you.

      12 bolt rear spacer

Hey guys, I'm doing the same setup on my 69 Camaro-- all LS1 rear setup. Would you be able to give me the name and number of the person that makes the spacers for the 12 bolt rear.

      Thankyou!!
