Its been awhile since I've posted. I got the car back on the road, and drove it from October until February. Unfortunately I blew up the transmission and its back off the road. Turns out the shop that built the transmission believes it was their fault for it to fail, so they are going to fix it for free. Here are some pictures of what it looked like "finished".

Thats my brother's Regal to the right.

Hope you guys enjoy these! Expect to see more updates in the next few weeks.

I second that.. Your car does have a great stance and I'm glad to see you enjoying it again... It has been 10 years since I have driven mine... Congrats!!

Its been awhile since I've updated this thread, but I've done a few things to the car, mainly just enjoying it. I got the re-rebuilt transmission back in, and a new converter. The car seems to be running much better now! July 28th-29th I attended Texas Heat Wave with my brother in Austin, TX. The show was huge, supposedly around 2,000 cars. I placed second in American Mid-size Custom Street. I was pretty excited about it, as I didn't expect to win anything at all. Here are some pics for you guys...

I love the pics of the Monte down in the weeds!
Thanks for the update, it's always good motivation to help push through the little sidetracks we often experience.

Great looking Monte. Stance is perfect, the way GM should have done it.

Good job on placing at Heatwave!! Thats a tough field to compete in and yes just like Dave, thanks for the extra motivation to get the 86 SS rolling again.
