      New guy from Norway

Hello boys and girls.I have been watching this site for a while and now i am a member too.
Im living in Norway and there are a lot of cars taking the Pro touring style nowadays.
I have a 1973 Formula 400 that are in the progress of being built as a PT machine so i can take controll of it when i am chasing the other cars in this community.
I have bought 454 Chevy with Performer rpm heads and rpm air gap intake.800 edelbrock thunder carburetor .4 bolt mains and 7/16 rods. The engine makes between 500-530 horses, and the upgraded 700 trans should have a short life if i can adjust the TV cable right.

Currently the original axle is there but a 80 Trans am rear with 3,42 and posi and discs are waiting to be mounted.Adjustable koni shocks and Trans am sway bars have been added to the suspension.RH wheels in 17x8 front and 17x10 with 275x40 will be traded for wintage wheels works model 40 in the future. There are rust in the quarters so maybe i will make more room with flares built in steel to give it that aggresive Trans am style.......

Oooopppsss I forgot my name.My name is Arild Guldbrandsen.Lives in Mo i Rana.A place in the middle of Norway.I guess i have been deleting too much from the original thread,so my name has vanished.

Pictures will come when my camera is repaired. Its new,but there was some malfunction after some weeks,so pictures will come when i get it back.

NO2Mike.Oslo is 600 miles from my hometown so i cant tell if i remember seeing those people you mention, but i will look for their names and cars in the car magazines we have here.

The interest for american cars is very old here in Norway. When the oil crises started in the seventies in europe, nobody wanted the american cars there, but a lot of them ended up here in scandinavia. There are 14 mustangs in this town were i live,as and example.

Mr Dragonsnake .Snakeskin jacket and snakeskin boots hehe.Actually the name refer to the Cobra that was used in the sixties as a drag car.

But i guess names for forums isnt easy to find.Could of course have called me something with a firebird or something, but i have this name when i am visiting the Mustang forums ,so i took the easy way .........

      Mustangs and Firebirds ...........

Hello Leadfoot.Looks like your car is a lot meaner than mine.

Where in sweden do you live?

You probably now that in this town where i live(Mo I Rana) we have the Arctic Circle Raceway Hehe......

Its a 3800 meter long racetrack that really like bigengine rearwheel drive cars. There are a meeting in the beginning of june with around 3-400 street driven cars.Mostly Opels-Bmw-Vw-etc but i should have my car completed in that time and there are at least TWO other members from this forum that will participiate. One with a 69 mustang and one with a Cuda.

Maybe a friend with a 70 Mustang will come too
You should come here and show the car,and drive like
