      69 Camaro BB heater core......................

      .....................can it be removed without taking the fender and inner wheelwell out?

      It is hard, but yes. I have done it more than once with my car. Use as long extension possible with a deep wobble socket and you will get it out. I hope you don't mind scratching it up becuase you will getting the housing out.

      I spent several hours trying to remove mine with the inner fender well still on and had a helluva of a time trying to reach the top most nuts. Once I pulled the inner fender well it took all of a few seconds.

      My thought is that the time it takes you to remove the inner fender well may make it worth the while.

      yep, once its out its cake. all that work for 2 screws.
