I would say deep sea fishing, bt they outlawed Grouper Fishing for a few months. So I do not know what to tell you. Your kinda in the middle of no where there, and kinda far from us.

2 hours is about right. Fort Pierce is pretty much no man's land. Only thing is PBIR (Moroso), but that's about 1 hour south, and there's jack squat going on during a Wednesday afternoon. Palm Beach Driving Club is having a track event there from 6pm-10pm (Jan 6th). http://www.morosomotorsportspark.com...w/2285/66.html.

There are plenty of nice rods in Ft. Pierce, they're just a little hard to find. Ask around, I think they used to meet on Mondays or Fridays in the historic district.
One of the nicest drives in Florida is between Ft. Pierce and Jensen Beach (my home)-

Find Peter's Steakhouse at the Jensen Beach/Railroad track roundabout. $50 a plate or so, but few matched and none better. Best salad anywhere.

Too bad it got cold down here. Most people go into hibernation when the temperatures get as low as they have.Offshore fishing has been good.Sailfish are active right now.
