      LS1 vs Factory Disk

Several months ago when I started my 68 Camaro build I ordered a factory style disk brake kit for the front of the car. Since then I have bought a 2002 Z28 that is a complete running, driving car with only 34000 miles on it. I am going to use the rear disk off of it and got to thinking that I would probably be better off using the complete brake system ( minus abs ). The car is going to be completely custom anyway. Going to be using every piece I can from the newer car. What do yall think about the front disk? Should I keep the new factory style fronts or go ahead and and use the LS1 stuff so I'll have a matching system?
      Thanks, Dion

LS1 fronts are only 12" diameter, not 12.8" like the C5/C6, but still an upgrade from the factory single piston units. Strictly from a balance standpoint, I would run the LS1 front and rear since you've got the components.
