68 camaro rear leaf question summit

Quick question,

I bought the rear lowering leaf kit from Summit, i dont have the # off hand. But I bought them because the leafs on the car (unaware if they are original) looked pretty bad. Summit contacts me 3 times to ask if I had put them in yet...which I haven't, they finally get a hold of me and tell me that they put these rear leafs in production based off a single set for camaros, but in fact GM produced multiple differetn rear leafs for the cars and often actually mis-matched the reaer leafs depending on the motor combo....most commonly the big blocks having mis matched rear leafs to deal with torque/twist issues...at least thats what the summit guy told me...he also said that if i go to put them in and they dont work, or I dont want them they will cut me a deal on the hotchkiss kit.


Has anyone tried these Summit leafs, had issues with them or hear do this?

I would spring (ha-ha) for the deal on the hotchkiss setup.
