What do you think about the GM performance LS 454 crate engine?

at this point it seems like youre getting a lot for your money. the problem with my custom motor is that every good part is only 100 bucks more than the crate motor stuff. there are a lot of friggin parts on this motor. the gmpp 454 lsx is ~9.5k and my long block is ~12k. way too much, but like i said, it adds up fast.
