      Trail Blazer SS Motor and Trans

      Guy's in the process of buying A LS2 out of a trailblazer,it's complete with wiring harness both computers fuse box etc,and also front accesories with the 4l70E,is this basically the same swap as doing a LS1,also can I use the wiring harness and trailblazer intake,it was a killer deal,Trick Flow 225's,LS7 injectors,camshaft,upgraded trans, yank convertor,for 7k,so I couldn't turn it down,one last thing is the trans basically a 4l60 with better internals.THANKS GUY'S!

      Some people run into hood clearance with the truck intake. If that is the case you have plenty of OEM and aftermarkets choices for a car style intake. For the most part it is the same as any other LSX swap. Make sure you get the gas pedal (drive by wire) and O2 sensors. You can use the stock harness with the ECM under the hood or you can have an aftermarket company modify it for you like Speartech to lengthen it and remove the unused items. You might have to relocate the A/C compressor is you plan on keeping it. It usually interferes with the subframe in the low position. A Kwikperformance bracket is your low cost option to relocate and keep the stock accessories.

      Thanks for the reply guy's,good to hear from ya chris,I thought that was a hell of a deal for the motor and trans,waiting on my G-link to come in this week,been super busy but maybe in the next couple of weeks I'll have time to get back on the car.THANKS!
