      smooth firewall and bondo

I'm smoothing out my firewall on my 68 camaro. My question is if I use bondo instead of all metel, will I have a problem with heat?

are you welding in a flat sheet and using the filler (dont use bondo) to smooth the transition, or are you just slapping some filler on the entire firewall to smooth it? that will make a big difference.

You might be okay if all you are doing is smoothing out the waves. Just dont want to use it to fill in the whole firewall as it crack under the stress.
